The Minnesota Professional Photographers Association presents Dan Brouillette on November 16th. 2015

The Minnesota Professional Photographer's Association  and WHCC is proud to bring Dan Brouillette to Minnesota for a one day PPA merited seminar on Monday November 16th, 2015.

Dan is know for his editorial style.  During his seminar Dan shares how his eye for editorial photography influences how he photographs portraits; he’ll show you what inspires him and how he uses it for clients. He treats every session as a custom shoot. Dan will review his entire process from start to finish including sales.  Dan averages $1,800 per client using the perception of increased value and giving clients a choice during the sale.

In addition Dan will discuss and demonstrate several of his successful lighting techniques from simple one-light setups to complex multi-light setups. There will be live subjects on hand so that you can see him in action; bring your camera with you to this program! Dan will also cover his philosophy on posing and composition.

Dan will also cover a simple, yet effective model program to help boost your business. If you are in a dreaded "creative rut," Dan will go over ways to get you back to the roots of photography. Or, even if you are buzzing along, doing and feeling great, Dan will give you techniques to help you keep it that way.

This seminar will take place at the Phodot Photography Studio (16 1/2 1st AVE S, Buffalo, MN 55313)  The Studio entrance is in the back.  Parking is available in the public lot next to the Coborn's.

This MNPPA seminar is open to members and non-members.  Members pay $45, non-members pay $99.

Bio:
Dan Brouillette is a commercial, editorial and senior photographer based out of Omaha, Nebraska. Dan uses specialized lighting and posing techniques to create cinematic images for his senior clients that are unlike anything in the industry. After working as a lighting tech in New York City spending his time lighting sets for celebrity and editorial shoots (which he still does today), he moved to Omaha to start his own studio and bring some of that New York flare to his local clients. By implementing different lighting techniques and modifiers typically reserved for commercial photography, Dan is able to stand out and give his clients unique images that look and feel like they were taken from the pages of a magazine. His editorial clients include ESPN Magazine, Women's Health, TIME Magazine and many more and he has been hired to construct lighting setups for celebrities such as Anna Kendrick, Anne Hathaway, Kristen Stewart, Scarlett Johansson, and dozens of others!
